I found a pair of 3" gold hoops about 10 years ago on Wabasso Beach in front of the Disney Vero Beach resort..They we about 10' apart up near the dune line. suspect a woman took them off, went for a swim in the ocean, came back and shook the sand off her towel and the earrings went flying..

NICE gold! I had one matching pair (unfortunately junk) the first month I detected. They were about 200' apart near the high tide mark. Go figure.
