Remember Mom

Remember to thank her for putting that bandage on your scraped knee. Remember to thank her for all those warm meals, and the clean sheets and clothes. Thank her for taking you to church against your will. Thank her for putting off buying that new dress so she could get you some new shoes. Thank her for sitting on the hard bleachers in the hot sun at the ballpark. Thank her for correcting you when you needed it and thank her for spanking you when you deserved it. (Never thought I would say that!!)

And

OH my mom! :) I sure will! :)

I have little to thank mine for. She is deceased...died at an early age (42). I cannot recall meeting my Mom until I was about 8 years old when she took my brother and I from our grandparents house to go live with her and a loser of a 'step-father'.

From as earliest as I can remember to around 8, we cared for our grandmother who had only one arm and one leg. We cared for her so grandpa could go to work.

Well, for those who have fond memories of your Mother or she is still around say you love her while you can.

Sorry about being a downer.

I cannot say anything to my mom, as she passed away from a heart attack on July 24, 1984! Sure do miss her and I pray that all the moms out there have someone to say, Hello Mom and Happy Mother's Day I rec a card from Tami and she underlined With Love before signing her's and Troy's names. Then she wrote I Love You Mom: Have a GREAT DAY!

Just filled my heart with her and God's warming love!

God Bless!
Betty
