Remember back in August when Virginia had that earthquake and Vernon's lawn chairs got knocked over? I recently visited ....

... a friend who lives very close to the epicenter of that quake.

Down in his basement he has a regulation size professional VERY HEAVY pool table in his rec room. The earthquake moved the table across the room and accordion ed (rippled) his hardwood flooring and knocked all his animal mounts from hunting off the walls. The pool table has three pieces of slate that took four very strong men to carry in each piece of slate when the table was assembled. It's amazing his home had no visable damage other than the rippled basement flooring such as concrete cracks or plumbing breaks.
