Relics in Oriental,NC

My daughter just bought a few acres in Oriental, NC. It's near Morehead and New Bern,NC. Anyone know if there are any relic treasures in that area? How about beaches to hunt on - any there? This Illinois Dad's just asking. Will be there in about a month. Please send email - Thanks
 
There are miles of beaches from Atlantic Beach to Emerald Isle to hunt and they are only about 1 1/2 hours from Oriental. Lots of CW sites too. I would start doing research now.....
