Relics from a skermish

I've been hunting a spot on Lee's retreat from Gettysburg. I find shot Confederate bullets & union. It depends on what sides of the hills I'm on. One thing I'm getting a grasp on is topography. It definitely plays in relic hunting. Thanks for looking. HH

Good finds all around.

any artillery in use?
Yes but not much. I really have never hunted for large iron there. down the road is a small battle that we have dug shell fragments & case shot. Theres a really big battle down the road at Sharpburg. I hunting Gettysburg campaign spots close to there.

you ever plot out overshots, go back 1/2 to 3/4 mile behind the main battle lines especially hillside facing the battle, look for some fragments you will know you are in the impact area.I have done this with good success.
