Relics from 4 hunts at the Tree Farm

Here is a pic of the relics from 4 hunts at the tree farm. I have probably covered 1 to 1

Lots of neat stuff, it's a lot of fun digging up relics when coinshooting peeters out or gets old even though you've found some GREAT coins there. WTG!

Yeah digging up junk from the past can be a blast. When I was a kid we used to collect and sell junk to make spending money. Mwe and my buddy found a hand-cranked siren out behind a body shop one day and I mounted it on my bike and we were riding around town and cranking away when the cops stopped us and took it away from us and gave us a good scolding. Ruined a beautiful day.

We used to have a slew of arrowheads and similar things around my home town and at one time I had a shoe box full of them. Wish I still had them.
where is the plastic part of the shotgun shell?
They used to make SS shells out of paper. They hav been in the ground so long the paper rotted away. They also made brass SS shells. I have one that I found. There is a site that has all the info for the comany's that made them. One of them I found has ROBIN HOOD on it. here is the years it was made: ROBIN HOOD POWDER COMPANY
(Later Robin Hood Arms Co.) (1887 to 1916). So that shell couln't have been made after 1916. For me that is part of the fun looking up old relics.
wow I did not know that, every one I ever saw/shot was plastic!
