Relics found in same hole!

Posted other parts of Finds Forum; thought you might enjoy. While digging the loud signal that the brass oar lock was giving off, the flint spear point was in the ground above the oar lock. How lucky can a guy get. Dave from N.E. Penna.

Now ya gotta wonder, how that flint point came to be above that Oar Lock. Unless

The spear point was located first. I thought it was a replica that was made out of metal, but when I waved it in front of the coil, NO SOUND. I put the coil
back in the hole and the oar lock, which is heavy solid brass, gave out a loud signal. One more dig (I was shallow water hunting) and out came the oar lock. Over time, I'm guessing that the weight of the oar lock made it sink deeper into the mud. Whatever, they are my very favorite finds. How lucky can a guy get? Dave.
