I got up this morning and decided to dig in dirt today.

With shells that old I hope you can find some silver there too!

the A.K 47 will do them but its a good thing to check in the dirt they throw out of thear holes sometimes and old coin cums up
 
I really love those old covered bridges. Wish we had some like that around here. You are sure to find some good stuff where there has been military activity, hopefully a lot of silver from the period. But you got some good finds anyway. Next time take one of the little "mopheads without handles" with you to deal with the groundhogs in their holes.
