Relic using Fors Gold + coils?

From what I understand the Fors Relic and the Fors Gold + can share coils. Both are 19kHz.

Has anyone tried the concentric or the large 13x15"DD Gold+ coils on the Relic?

That is correct.

Dean, I have the 5½X10 Concentric coil currently mounted on my FORS Relic, and have left the 5½X10 DD on my Gold +. I don't have thee larger 13X15 DD coil for the 19 kHz series units, but I do have the standard 7X11 DD mounted on its own lower rod for quieter, sparse-target areas.

My favorite, the almost 5½" measured round DD, is on a lower rod and it gets used the most due to the densely littered sites I hunt. The 5½X10 Concentric is my 2nd most-used coil on the Relic and it is mounted now because I have been working a semi-remote area at an old gold mining town site that was used mainly in the 1870's and I am away from the heavy trash.

For Relic Hunting the older places I most enjoy as well as doing a little urban Coin Hunting in an old CCC encampment that is now a park, I enjoy using the 5½X10 Concentric coil when not in heavy iron and non-iron debris.

So am I to understand that both the relic coils and the gold+ coils can be run on the relic because they are both 19 khz?
They're pricey, but I see at least one more coil in my relic's future.
Have only used tried the large coil so far.

Yes, the FORS Gold + and Relic can share search coils. Personally, I do not consider these search coils to be 'pricey' at all when compared with other quality built coils from a major manufacturer. They are very solid, and work excellent.

Very true.
I meant more compared to other ones like for my garrett.
But u agree, from what I've seen from my 2 coils that came with my relic, they'll be worth it!!!

Can't find a place to buy the 5.5 x 10 concentric coil

I know the concentric coil is a bit more sensitive to small gold than the DD on the GR and its not far off getting a work out in the local park, or would that be me getting the work out

I wait on the impact always waiting it seems life is about waiting , I am getting better at it slowly !!

if you cant find a concentric coil in the US look on ebay the guys selling in/from Turkey are the real deal, PM me if you want the best guy
