Great forum. I appreciate the ideas which are helping make the conversion to the new MXT more rewarding and enjoyable.
Question about the mixed mode audio.
Can an iron object (rusty nail) give off two signals - both low tone iron and the high pitched tone on the same pass? I have dug many high low two tone signals, only to find a nail. Does the two tone always mean there are two targets, or can one target be be responsible for both high and low tones on the same sweep?
If a single object can give both tones, is there a way of helping determine if there is in fact a good target alongside the iron item?
So far I am very impressed with the MXT, and have a few keepers in the pouch already.
Thanks for the help..
