There's many many good tips if you do a search. So many people have posted about different techniques, etc. Hope this helps and HH, Nancy

Relic Mode, with trigger in center position, targets above your disc setting will give a high tone. Targets below disc setting will give a low tone.

Relic Mode with trigger in forward position, targets above your disc setting will give a high tone. Targets below disc setting will null out.

Relic mode with trigger in forward position and disc set on 0. Non-ferrous (coins, brass, lead, copper, etc.) targets will give a high tone, ferrous targets (iron) will give a low tone.

My personal settings are: Relic Mode, Disc set on 2, Threshold barely audible, but still easy to hear, and Sens as high as I can run it and still keep a smooth, steady threshold hum. Toggle in ground position unless in a trashy site, then I will lock it.

Hope this helps, good luck,

Jeff

thanks Jeff

I'll start to make experiments with the toggle and Gain

Once you get used to the vdi numbers of what you are looking for it is easy. I like it because I seem to get a little more depth & with the trigger in the middle I can swing the coil faster & still get good hits.
