relic mode vs coin an jewlery

I use my mxt in the coin an jewlery mode all the time.would the relic mode work just as well for coins an jewlery.while hunting for relics.

when I tried C&J for coins I couldn't tell much difference between rejected & accepted, they all beeped nearly the same, it seemed. In relic center, items below disc setting have low tone & items above disc setting have high tone. So all coins except nickels can have a high tone, while nearly all trash has a low tone. I use relic all the time for everything but lately Ive been playing with prospect mode for c/j. Its pretty cool if you slow down and let is talk to you, it has a built in pinpointer vco and you don't have to pull the trigger. I use it in the sand when I get board with pennies.
