Relic Iron ID mode question

New member
I have been hunting in Relic 2 tone and have been having good results, today near power lines I was unable to use this
mode so I tried the Iron ID mode which improved the interference from the power lines. In the manual is states the discrimination control is disabled in Iron Id mode, does turning the disc control do anything? Has anyone compared Relic 2 tone to Relic Id to see which mode is deeper?

When in Prospecting mode turning the disc won't change anything it runs in SAT .

I hunt in Relic mode all the time and have never had problems with power lines, I've been using the MXT for over five years and only recently picked up the Pro.
Maybe you are running the Gain too high ?

My XL-Pro has never had problems around power lines either.
