Have been using the G2 on the beaches here in NJ and Love it. I want to try relic hunting, what settings are you using? Are you in All Metal or Disc Mode? What VDI read outs are you digging, 20 and over? Etc.

Relic Hunting with G2: What settings do you use?

Well on my relic hunts been running in disc and 11" coil settings at 40 disc level and wide open to the world as much as possible

It has great coverage. It hits small deep buttons. It's does'nt feel heavier than the 11" coil. The target numbers seem to be 1 digit off from the manual, at least on mine, but I dig it all. I have not found anything super deep yet. Me and a friend have been hunting this one farm and neither one of have found anything over 8", but I do like the coil so far.
