Relic hunting today

Got out for about 4 hours today. I usually use the MXT when I go relic hunting but today I just wanted to use my DFX for a change. Hit the field where a CW campsite is and after about 45 minutes of hunting I finally got a good deep hit and managed to pull up a beautiful .45 Merrill...

About an hour later I get a VDI reading of +90 and told myself, yeah right, another smashed beer can! Boy was I suprised when I popped this Walking Liberty Half out of the dirt clod!!!

You all take care and have a safe weekend! :)

Hi Bulletman,
If all 3 of your friends are discussed with the DFX, tell them to SEND THEM MY WAY!!! LOL!!! I've had my DFX for 2 years now, wouldn't trade it for anything!!! Filled up 5 display cases of civil war bullets and relics. Not to mention some purdy nice old silver coins to boot! Also I use an MXT to sniff out the buttons. Tell your buddies I'm wait'n for the DFX's to arrive anytime! :)
