Relic hunting in the Sc lowcountry Help

Jason in TN

New member
Me and three buddies will be down for a few days to the low country of SC to hunt myrtle beach. Not excpecting much at the beach so looking to a place to relic hunt near there or Charlston. I relic hunt a lot in the mountains of east Tennessee here. And do OK. If any one would like to hook up with us or give me a Idea on a good place to hunt that would be awsome. There will be three or four of us. Thanks Will be there the 31 to the 2nd to hunt

Jason, I noticed you are from east Tn. and we are returning to Knoxville after being in Fl.
Got a question for you. When I was up there I used a Sov. Elite which is gone and I need a new machine. If you don't mind, I am curious what folks are using up there now? I am thinking an M6 or Mxt, your comments would be appreciated.
Thanks, Roper

Mxt is what alot of guys use up here and swear by them. I have a Tejon and a Fisher F75 that I like in the mountains of TN.
Hope this helps.

Thanks Jason, I am leaning toward an M6 will all of the coils, but still am on the fence over an MXT.

If they put a meter on the Tejon that would be my first choice as I really like the machine, but have gotten to prefer a metered machine. Might get one for a backup anyway. I'll pass on Bounty Hunter until their new machines have a few years of service. Also, seems people are having customer service issues and I have always had good results with Tesoro and White's.

Thanks, Roper
