RELIC HUNTING IN SOUTH FLORIDA

JOHNNY DELUXE

New member
It has been a bit of a challenge for me to find sites in the South Florida area that people gathered 100 years ago, though Florida has the beaches its very hard to find good land sites where old relics might be found (at least for me) are there any tipsters out there

If you search on "old maps" there are a lots of them out there on the net. I have some back to the 1600s showing Spanish settlements on the east coast. There are maps showing indians, revoltionary war, civil war, ect. You can start with the Libaray of Congress.

Florida has very tough treasure trove laws. If you find anything of value, put it in your car immediately just In case the local sheriff asks what you found.
