Relic Hunt With The 550..............

Spanky

New member
Well, the ground is still covered in snow and as hard as rock so I went for a relic hunt in a near by wooded area. Grounds softer under the leaves. I was hunting in all metal mode just to be thankful I found anything.
The first photo shows the condition of the items fresh out of my collection bag. The second shows the items cleaned up a bit and than a close up of a toy metal die cast army man with gas mask and hand grenade. Must admit I never saw one made of cast steel. Usually see lots of plastic ones. The broach is missing all its stones except two little green ones. Found lots of other junk and a few clad.
All in all I had a good day.
Remember to take your yeller or green fella out for a walk.

Those old soldiers are quite collectible. Great addition to your collection too. :) Nice vintage jewellery too. You need to go to a jewellery supply shop and pick up some small rhinestones to complete that piece of vintage jewelry. Save that spoon and make a spoon ring out of it. Great hunt Spanky!
