Relic Hunt turned into a coin hunt

Went back to my relic honey-hole today, and got skunked on relics, but did find my oldest silver coin yet. It's an 1877 Seated Liberty dime. Found it all by it's lonesome out in a field, away from everything. If not for finding this, it would have been an exercise-only hunt....Oh, I took the Silver instead of the Cibola. Cibola will go next.

It's weird. This farm produced alot of good relics for me last year. US buckle, carbine sling buckle, sword belt plate, two Va. State seal buttons, one being a Staff Officer's, several eagle buttons, bunch of Spencer casings, lamp parts, tent parts, melted lead, and a very few bullets. The only thing that I can think of is that I have hunted the place out pretty good. The camp must have been small. I know that you never really hunt a place out, but can't believe I didn't find more yesterday.
