I headed out with a buddy of mine for a relic hunt. Nothing too old exists here...no civil wars, and no fights with the Blackfoot or Cree. However, coins and relics can show up from time to time in the late 1800's. So, getting an old dog tag, lock is actually a decent find! But, either way, metal detecting is fun, healthy and a hobby that generally pays for itself. :)

Here's the best finds of the day. I have hunted this same spot over and over again for over 10 years, and it just keeps on giving.
