NEED HELP WITH I/D ON BUTTON , SPENCER CARTRIDGE ,HIT MUSKET BALL , MAYBE A TRIGGER GUARD OF SOME KIND ?. THIS I DON'T KNOW IT'S BRASS , IT'S STEEL WITH A BRASS OR COPPER RIB-IT MADE IN IT.

The last picture is a door latch, which is operated by using the round knob and sliding it to move the latch which is the angled piece on the right. The notched portion on the left is where a door knob from the other side of the door would would engage the notch and move the latch to open the door. Basically the door only had one twist knob and a sliding knob on the other side. Hope that makes sense! I have a smaller version on two closet doors in our house, but it does not have the notch on the left, and only opens from one side. Our house was built in 1836. Lloyd
