Relaxing Night Hunt

Well, I embarked on my first night hunt for the year...It has been that kind of hot and humid here during the daytime, that drains the life right out of you. When I saw the temps would dip into the 60s and the humidity would be below 40%, I decided to hit my local ball fields at night...I went out around 10pm and hunted until 1am...I have pretty well cleaned out this field, in preparation for the upcoming field days in August...It has been so dry here that the ground was literally dry concrete mix (we have a lot of limestone and clay)...The one thing I like about night hunting is how coins just pop out in the light of my headlamp...easy to find...Did not get much, but had an enjoyable evening...

HH,

I always feel great after a nighthunt...totally in a peaceful mood and sleep like a baby. Good to see another appreciate them the same way! Nice hunt!

Good lord GoGoGopher, where do you live where the night time temps were in the 60s with only 40% humidity? Northern California??
I'm in central Illinois and it's been murder here, night temps are in the mid 80s and near 85% humidity. I come from blissfully beautiful and DRY New Mexico, and this Illinois humidity is life threatening to a guy like me, I should write a letter and ask them to make it stop, huh?
