Relatively Light Weight detector that has an audible threshold...

in disc mode? I used to run a White's MXT, but with any kind of decent size coil (above 8") it was a beast on my shoulder. Are any of the other detectors out there, lighter with a 9"+ detector (around 3 lbs, but no heavier than 4lbs), well balanced and capable of running with an audible threshold in a discrimination mode? I would use this to get the deepest signals possible and use a limiter on my headphones to keep it from getting loud enough to hurt my ears.

If you want opinions, i'll offer mine. Minelab Xterra 705. well balanced, Lightweight, adjustable threshold in discrimination mode, i've never experienced EMI with this machine, I.D. solid, plenty deep in my hunting soils, the features are incredible for a detector in its price range. don't tell anybody but at this time in my life it is my favorite lady.;)

The 305 and 505 also have a threshold in disc. If you used the prospecting mode on your MXT then the 705 is you machine.
