Rejoining the ranks with a Deus...very soon!

I'm jumping back into a full Deus setup as soon as possible - recently came across a 401K I forgot about

I was just getting going with a couple of the non-motion audio disc modes hunting deep 8-10" coins in a local park where the normal 4K and 12K programs were *just* picking these signals up, but these modes couldn't distinguish ferrous from non-ferrous at that depth in my soil. I feel that I could get back into the groove in just hours with the old gal....really hated to sell it last year but now things have changed!

Going with the 11" coil since it seems to pick up even the tiniest bits of non-ferrous items mixed with iron -AND- at depth....and I know we are all patiently awaiting V4 and the smaller coil, pinpointer, etc....2016 is going to be a great year!

them non motion modes can be a bugger to get set up, but wen you do i think it will be worth all the trouble.

been playing around with them a little ,but i think they will drive you CRAZY in the trash!! out in a field is were

i use them non motion disc /non motion audio disc

Hey good to hear it! I'm the fellow that bought your old one from you, I love it! Finally getting the weather and time to get out, check out my post "Happily....I'm very impressed! First Silver with the Deus" I got a 1901 Barber Dime today in with 2 stuck together wheats 1917,1918, going over a yard I had just done with my CTX. There was heavy iron in the area I pulled the old coins from, just exactly the reason I wanted to get the Deus in the first place. The CTX is still my first choice, but I love the Deus in the iron and heavy trash. They compliment each other very well. Good luck with your new Deus and rest assured, your old girl is treated well and in great shape!

I'm in FL currently (new to me) and took the time to put together a Dry Beach program with
a couple of targets I buried at the beach... for spring break
Yesterday in one of the inland Parks with a Buddy I switched it over to my new Beach program
out of curiosity and was surprised at how deep it was in the dirt... you just never know till you try!
Same with the Gold Program... you still have VDI and Disc AND it sees through the mineralization
There are so many ways to make this thing rock....

I have been using Gold Field recently, it really punches through the ground, 4Khz, reactivity 1, glad to hear you are re joining the Deus club.

Excellent to hear you're back. I know the feeling. Had to sell mine as well, then bounced back and bought another one a few months ago. I felt like I was just clicking with it too, but I'm getting pretty confident with my new one. I'd like to hear more about these non-motion modes.
