My buddy said it was because I posted about him getting stung what goes around comes around! I had a target and stated to dig and looked down and it looked like a cloud around my boots and of course I ran and then they lit me up!

Nice button you found, yah bees, hornets , deer flies etc. sure can put a dampner on a good hunt.

Congrats on your regiment of artillery button find - I have found out that bees - hornets & wasps can cut your hunt short and send you on your way. Anyway thanks for sharing your pictures and story with all of us.

Sounds like you guys are going to keep pressing forward into the yellow jackets. Benadryl is good, Yellow Jacket/Wasp spray is too. Remember the old Boy Scout motto, BEE PREPARED.. Keep it away from the detectors.

Better luck next time out.

Hate those yellow jackets. Always a danger in wooded sites. The regiment button makes it worth while...but barely. Nice find.
