Redneck Rivera

Me and my girlfriend ( Christine ) went to the redneck Rivera today after work. It is basically a stream under a bridge that folks go to and swim, drink, drink, you get the picture. Anyway I hunted the water with the Tiger Shark, and she hunted the beach with the 1350. We both found a slew of bottle tops, pieces of melted can, a few pull tabs and some clad. I had .94 and she ended up with .84 woo hooo! No jewelry.

Went back today, got skunked. .33 cents and 15 .40 caliber bullets. the bullets were about 4" in the sand.

i have hunted areas like that joe, only problem is the amount of trash far exceeds the treasure. how deep is the water? if you aren't finding much change, they can't be swimming there too much. i hope it pays off for you. i would find some local lakes, with popular swim areas or try and maybe locate old forgotten lake beaches. if you can find them in your area. i drive a min 45 to hr for any lake i hunt, none closer. spend some time at those places and weigh your results!!! By the way it's not that there isn't anything in there, you will just work very hard for the small amount of finds that are there.
