Recv'd the 5x10" widescan elliptical today. For the Vaquero

I'm surprised by how small it is... I'm hoping to cover slightly more ground than the 5.75" concentric.. May be get a little more depth too.

I've been curious to try one for years..

How well does it pin-point?

Just swung it in the house over coins and rings..., next to nails ( we have wide board floors )

It pinpoints in a line about 8" long... not quite tip to tip. Rings and coins can give a double beep; signals on each edge.

It won't be hard to pinpoint with.

I need to get out with it :-/, but It's been raining buckets here
 
I'm sure you will like that coil but it won't go as deep as the 5.75 concentric. Great for coverage. Once I put it on my Vaq, I never took it off.
