Recovery speed

Do all the CZ models have a slow recovery speed ? My CZ70 seems kinda slow on the pickup when I'm trying to locate a target.

They are not speed demons! Can use a little more speed in autotune than in discrimination mode, but get best depth with a relaxed, medium to slow sweep speed. I consider that about one second per left to right for about a 3.5 to 4 foot sweep and then another second back right to left. If you are in highly mineralized conditions or have a target breaking low to high tone or are trying to pick something out of trash, even slower.
Cheers,

Slow and low is the way to go.....Expect more targets and exceptional depth...just nature of the beast...Whats lost in coverage is made up with superior depth...
Learned this a long time ago when my buddy was beating the pants off of me relative finds and after getting tired really slowed down and ended up with 3 deep keepers in the last hour of a long hunt...
