Recovery speed: GTI 1500 vs. GTP 1350 vs. Ace 250 ,how do they compare?

Just wondering 'cause I've heard that the 250 has a very fast recovery speed. I've got a 1500 & it's not the fastest. How 'bout signal delay? One of the things that bothers me about the 1500 is the slight delay, when going over a target, before it sounds off. ..Willy.
 
I dont know if it makes a difference or not yet but I have a 1500 and started to use zero descrimination and I seem to get alot more beeps of different tones when items are close together. I just started doing it so I am not sure what kind of difference it makes. I know what you are saying about being slow recovery time.
 
Can't tell you about the 1350, but the 250 does have a faster response/recovery than the 1500.
The 1500 is still more machine, but as a pure coin shooter the 250 is hard to beat.

The 250 is much faster. You virtually can't swing it fast enough to miss a target.

In zero you are picking up every piece of metal in the ground.

Just read my new copy of The Searcher last night and there is an article in there about the ground balance on the 250 and the higher end machines. The 250 and 150 have a fixed ground balance and the GTA's and GTI's are constantly adjusting the ground balance. Could this be the difference in the recovery speed?
 
I know it is picking up all the metal I am trying it out to see if I will get the tones with 2 items close together.
