Recovered ring - returned to owner :clapping:

Ok so it sounded so good in the title of this message and yes I did recover a ring that had been lost and yes it was returned to the owner but.....

I think some time back someone wanted to know "if we could find anything we wanted, what would it be?". I mentioned then that I had had an eagle ring I gave to Sherry to wear and one of our parrots decided the wing on the eagle needed some adjustment. We never could get the wing to lay flat again and whenever one stuck a hand in a pocket wearing that ring the ring had to come off in the pocket to get the hand out of the pocket - kinda like handcuffs. Long story shortened, I put that ring somewhere and forgot where I put it - it got lost.  (double sad)

No. You guessed wrong it wasn't that ring that got found.

Sherry felt bad about the ring getting messed up so had bought me another eagle ring - one without wings to get bent out of shape. It is this ring she bought for me to replace the first that became lost. :rage:

I had thought for sure I lost it on some detecting trip - maybe when taking off the gloves I wear to protect my hands. Figured I'd never see it again and that I had hurt Sherry's feelings my losing it after 'all that' (mentioned above.)

Well minutes ago for some unknown reason (or was it the Spirit of God nudging me) I looked under our bed. You have to realize we had a fouton and the frame died but we shoved the mattress under our bed to get it out of the way. The ring was about arms length under that fouton mattress. How it got that far under there I'm sure only God knows.

So a lost ring - was recovered - and returned to its owner - me

Thank you Father for this find. Not only am I happy but so is Sherry and guys remember this: "Happy Wife - Happy Life"

Praise the Lord! That is great news! :)
