Recovered Diamond Ring Set 5th. of July

There was a posting on line concerning a lost engagement ring and wedding band set lost in the surf on July 4th. just before the fireworks display. I contacted the wife and told her I would try to recover the ring set for a modest recovery fee. She told me the approximate location so off I went to attempt to recover the set. After 3 hours I managed to hit the diamond ring and knew it was hers from the description of the interlocking ring set. The husband and wife showed up as I was winding down from the hunt having found the engagement ring. They asked me if I found anything to which I said nothing yet. As she was standing there I had a good target on the SeaHunter in wet sand and out popped the wedding band. She got real excited to see her wedding band since they could not afford to replace the set. Money was tight building a house and all that. As I reached into my pocket and smiled at them she said "You have the engagement ring too? I pulled out the ring and matched them together. Needless to say the smiles and hugs said it all! Always a great satisfaction to return what seemed to be forever lost. HH EZ.

Well done, I need to start using my Sea Hunter a little more. Our beach has alot of rusted iron trash so I mostly use the excal. The surf has been a little on the rough side to go in deep enough to get away from the iron. HH

Thanks guys,

The look is worth all the effort when they see the lost come home again!
