Recommended Coil For Beach

What would you recommend for a beach coil for Ct & RI beaches using an MXT. How would the 950 that comes with the unit work on the beach ?
 
I never hunted the beach but there is many people using the 9.5 and the 12'' for that purpose
 
If you have the 9.5 coil, that's a dandy for the beach. I wouldn't spend the extra money on another coil until you're ready to move up to a bigger one if you can take the extra weight. JMHO, Nancy
 
I love the super 12" on the beach, excellent pin pointing ability and great depth and coverage. It is heavy to swing, but a good workout is not a bad thing for most of us. If you have the 9" er' use the stock one. You should have good success with it too. Marty
 
The stock 9.5" coil works great at the beach in NC. I now use the 10"DD for all my beach hunting, but I agree with Nancy, I would not buy a coil for the beach unless you just want another coil. The 9.5" is a great coil.

Nothing comes close to a BigFoot Coil on the beach for coverage.
