rechargeable batteries

Eric

New member
I have a 1236x2 and wonder if it affects the performance when using rechargeable batteries to replace the 2 9v ones. Anyone tried it before?

Thanks, Eric.

Hi Terry,

I have been getting 30-40 hours life using energizers, and havent seen the need,
Regarding performence most detectors have abuilt in voltage regulator,so same power to circuit board,at least until X point of discharge.
IE addind more cells to circuit would not increase performance, only prolong battery life .well depends on if wired in series or parralell.
Happy hunting,Mont
