Rechargeable Batteries:shrug:

NiMH Energizer's in mine. I've run the AT Pro 5-8 hours EVERY day since mid January with no trouble. I have two sets of batteries, and if the Pro's are getting low, I "borrow" those out of the Ace 350 while the others are recharging, which takes about 8 hours.

I hunt most evenings so got two sets and before each hunt I just swap then from the AT to the charger. This way there are always fresh batteries in the AT and I don't have to worry about them running low.

One set are Panasonic NiMH 2600 mAh and the other set are Energizer 2450 mAh. I haven't run either of them down enough to comment on their life but from my whole day hunts neither seem to last as long as quality Alkaline batteries. Of course this isn't a problem since 8 hours hunting with the rechargeables will only see the level drop by 2 bars.

If you do a lot of hunting the rechargables will pay for themselves (especially if you already have a charger) many times over. But if you only go out a couple of times a month I would just stick to alkalines.

Yep!:thumbup:Rechargeables work great in the AT Pro!:bouncy:I removed the alkaline batteries that came in my AT Pro and carry them in my pouch/pocket as back up for whenever the rechargeables die out. Then I'll use the alkalines for the remainder of the hunt 'til I can get back and charge up the rechargeables again. So far so good.:garrett::detecting:
Happy Hunting!:)

I have bought a couple of chargers and a bunch of rechargable batteries from an outfit called www.all-battery.com. Excellent service and fast shipping and good product. Got several sizes both AA and AAA and 9 volt for use in the various detectors and other items needing batteries. They have their own branded types and havent had any probems with them and they last as well as any of the other kinds I have. I do recommend them. They sell them at a good price and allowed me to purchase enough to have plenty to use to ensure a long life to them. And they sell a nice variety of chargers.

Just my 2 cents.
