rechargeable batteries 9 volt can they be use in 3300

LLew,my guess is that you could. The Batteries required would be a 2600 plus rating and a decent charger. This move to rechargeable would save money in the long run.

Rechargeables seem to come in a relative wide range of length. When I bought a 3300 a couple years back, I promptly used some rechargeables and the battery clips quickly broke after about an hour of hunting. Now I don't know if there possibly was a quality issue with the clips that the longer batteries was the last straw or what. My advice is just be aware with the longer rechargeable batteries it's gonna load the clips more than the shorter alkalines. If you haven't bought the rechargeables yet, you might want to consider their length as part of your selection criteria.

[Thanks For all the feed back everyone} I see in the Manual it says for short Battery use paper or cardboard at the back if using short batteries. But I never thought of batteries that are to long. Thanks again everyone. Going to SAM club in the morning?
