ok here we go here are a few of the better finds for the last couple of hunts a 1944 merc no mint mark a 1964 silver quarter no mint mark a 1946 dime no mint mark a 1956 qurter no mint mark and the oldest find a new york chauffeurs license expires july 1927 wow what a great hobby you just dont know what youll dig up of course there were the many junk targets a few wheats and numerous clad coins cant wait im going out on sunday to an area where the home sites are long gone but the cellar holes are still there the possibilities are endless many of these were gone before 1900 but i hope no one else has got there before me well i wish everyone great hunts and keep digging you just never know
 
im using the discovery 3300 with the stock coil found the 1946 dime and the chauffeur license at a local park and the merc and the two quarters at a local fire department where they use to hold field days but havent for at least 15 years its been great fun and really exciting spring is just strating here in new york state so theres still lots of time for metal detecting here before winter i hope the rain cooperates so i can get out often but you just dont know thanks for the response and happy hunting may all your finds be silver and gold
