Recent hunts and Div. 8 finds. Tsgman

My first Div. hunt was great! The first day it rained and several people had detector's that just quit working, luckily I had my new MXT wrapped up well so no problems. My strategy was to surface hunt the first day and get to know the area. The entire hunt was in pretty thick woods with hundreds of hut depressions. I did OK considering all the rain, i dug several bullets most of them were fired. I did find my first complete Spencer cartridge! The 2nd and 3rd days I dug a couple of huts sites and found a really nice brass suspender buckle that said Nashwannuck Mfg. Co. patent 1855. I also dug my first star based 3 ringer and a couple of fired Gardner's. I managed a couple of hunts just before the trip and have gone once since I returned. Here are my finds. The first 5 pics are from the div.8 hunt and the last one is my last hunt from here in Southwest Missouri just before my trip to Virginia. Thanks, Tim

In the 2nd pic my buddy Sgt. Lowe found the items on the left and the 3rd pic my hunting buddy John found the items on the right side. He dug a partial US plate. He could only find the U.

Fantastic finds, thanks for sharing...
