Recent finds - old copper, interesting relics

So here are some pictures of some recent outings.

The first group represents the first 8 or so hours at a new site. Private property, house was built in 1982, however the property is part of an area that was a revolutionary war encampment for the Americans. It is near the edge of a lake, where on the far side the British crossed over to the American encampment. The soil is pretty disturbed but obviously still holds some older material. I'll definitely go back and hopefully find some sort of military item.

The second group of items is from another private property with a house dating to the 1700's. The owner is clearing out the woods surrounding it, these finds are from the first section he cleared.

The last group is from my super star site, 1850's house, that continuously produces. I've found at least 5 old religious medals, and around 10+ older type jewelry items, tons of buckles and copper items. Oddly enough, with the amount of old items I've found, not many old coins, a couple IH's, V nickels, and mercs are the oldest silver. Very odd, need to pound it more and get to the coinage that MUST be there.

Enjoy the pics.
