Recent finds and cleaning question.

Found five of these dollar coins yesterday and a nice Skull 925 ring and a Bezel with a beetle inside.
I find the dollars a chore to clean up and usually put them in the last 15 minutes when tumbling dimes or quarters, then polish off with semi-chrome paste. Wondering if there is a better faster method out there?

Couple of nice jewelry finds and that ring looks hefty.

On clad halves and dollars I typically tumble them with quarters and then use a fine sos pad on the dollars and halves. That seems to give them a little cleaner look for spending and any microscopic scratches don't hurt and show up much. HH jim tn

I think that should be quicker for sure. Thanks.

I'd use 0000 copper or steel wool before Brillo pads. Gun brass polisher with walnut media works well.
