recent beach finds with the GT.

I just have not had much beach erosion and no Northeast Storms in my area. I could land hunt but I am programed to hit the beaches in the winter to look for spanish silver.
Between the tons of tabs and aluminum trash I did manage a 1943 merc dime, A small silver ring, and an unknown large copper. I believe it to be colonial since many colonials have been pulled out in this area of the beach in the past and I think I can see one of them famous profiles. Nothing great but good enough to beat cabin fever. But in all actuality I could go out tomorrow morning and land hunt if I choose to. A mild winter, so be it.'

Take Care

Those aren't bad at all. I would have been happy with that. It's better than nothing but pull tabs, or bottle caps.

Nice finds Jason! I am dreaming of detecting while you ARE detecting lol How could you possibly be land hunting in MASS? I am in CT and the ground here is frozen (at least the first couple inches or so) Are you using a backhoe? lol Maybe with the rain it softened things up. Thanks for posting - Jim

I am in the Merrimack Valley area of Massachusetts.
With yesterdays rain and today's sun. I know of a park with a high hill that thaws easy. However, I knew the beach would offer better chances for success. Even though there is a slight thaw my hands get colder in the soil than the beach.
