Received the Minelab X-Terra 70 with 3 coils today that I bought myself for Christmas, it is used but, in very nice condition. Read up on the instructions before I got it and read the article in January 07 issue of Western and Eastern Treasure magazine about the XT50 a few times and still wasn
 
Mike,

On the pinpoint, most people using the X70 hit the mode button to go into Prospecting mode to pinpoint, and then hit it again to go back to coins mode. A little longer to engage than pinpoint but has the advantage of being able to use the iron mask to double check the target at the same time.
