And it's in very good condition. I tested it out this afternoon in my test garden and was slightly disappointed with the results. It has the smaller wide scan coil and came with a detector cover. Ground balancing the diablo was weird but she balanced nicely in normal and low modes which was pretty cool. The sensitivity in low mode (maxed) was better then normal mode because it cuts out less mineralization compared to normal mode. In normal mode I could NOT hit my 5" target coin which is small, 5c Australian, nor hit my 7" target coin 10c Australian. However in low mode it did hit my 7" target coin, our 10c coin is about the same size as a US quarter maybe slightly smaller. The audio is poor compared to other machines around the same age even with high quality headphones sound was not much better. The balance of the machine is nice and is a pleasure to swing. I then proceeded inside for some air tests and again was slightly disappointed however I had no real expectations to begin with. Compared to the LST there is no comparison that is for sure. I'm wondering if maybe the old girl needs a good tune up from Tesoro, anyone with experience with one of these machines might be able to elaborate on this. Is this how they performed back in the day or does the old devil need some loving from Tesoro!
Cheers!
