Thank You guys,
This lid was found with an XP Gmaxx II. I wonder why there in the States these detectors are not so popular, they are very deep, especially on mineralized grounds.

Great find. In my time spent detecting in Germany and Belgium, I never found a German helmet which was what I was after. What I could not get over was the tons of unexploded ammunition still out there!!! Things like seeing a rusted "live" artillery round sitting in the forest made me think before I dug a signal. I miss detecting in Europe, but in a way, I don't miss the danger. Good luck with future finds.
