Really old Garrett -- question

Around 1983 I owned a Garrett detector. Maybe a Master Hunter? It was a big box with a slide-out battery holder with about 4 9V batteries. Had a "tuner" switch at the forward end of the handlebar grip holder. I recall that it came with a hefty price tag.
I wonder if someone could direct me to a photo gallery where I might search for that model? I had to sell it, but I recall a lot of fun times with it, and some decent finds.
Thanks for any help- this looks like the best forum I've found on detecting.

Wow!! Nice picture! It does look a lot like the one I had. Only difference is I don't recall the 6 function switch, or the the speaker tone control. Mine must have been a little older, or a little cheaper than this one. All the same- it sure brings back memories.
Thanks very much :)

Yeah the prior model had a few less features and just the standard tuner switch in the grip. Or you could have had the American but it wouldn't look like this one. Got a pic of that one also. But you said yours had the slide out battery tray and I think the one I posted was the only one with that tray.
