Real world test while hunting

Girlfriend and I were hunting last weekend, Her with the new Etrac and I with my SE (12 inch sunray coil). We were relic hunting at our favorite site and she came across a signal but the numbers were good then bad but always there,she called me over to see if she should dig it so I waved over the spot to see what numbers and my thought on the signal and quess what , I could NOT hear a thing. I was running full sensitivity and gain turned up so I can hear everything in all metal and NO SIGNAL! She waved over it and it was there everytime. Of course I said dig it. About 10-11 inches down there is was a pistol ball. Well I looks like Im going to have to get me an Etrac as soon as Santa pays off hers.

I have done similar tests several times with the pro coil on both machines with like results. Sometimes it was depth and sometimes it was masking.The Etrac is just a superior detector in many cases , Ray.

No disrespect intended,you should have your SE looked at..11" on a pistol ball and no siginal,my Sovereign [ orginal ] with the 11" coinsearch coil has no problem finding shot at that depth...Check it out before you trade it off or spend money on another machine.
