In the Standard Catalog of World Coins from Krause Publications it lists it as a 1 Real just like we have a 1 Cent. The next coins are greater denominations like 2 reales, 4 reales just like our 5 cents, 10 cents. The plural or more than one. Our member found a 1 Real.
