Real iffy targets

Low-Boy/LCPM

Active member
Hunted in very bad dirt but used the 10DD and tweeked a program a little and had a good day after all...anyone know what the button is let me know.

We all call those "iffy"......? Why is it that they turn out to be good targets so much of the time? (That just goes to show they weren't all that "iffy" after all and great job in using the readings on your detector as a jumping off point to use the best detector out there...your brain!!!) WTG!

Neil in NJ is the button guy he might have an idea, it looks like a blazer button to me and if it is a one piece, it could be quite old but I don't know the non military buttons very well I love the rings but don't know what the lower right is......... looks like a rock, Jasper maybe. Was that a visual or did it beep at you?

I agree Scott, we use iffy way too much because I usually know if I will dig or not just from the audio before looking at the other tools to confirm my suspicions. Maybes might be a better term...... may be a coin,, may be a ring....may be a keeper of some sorts......

All in all, you had a great hunt Low-Boy and that Rose ring is a beauty, I have to assume it is silver?

The rose ring are grape leaves..,it is black hills gold white gold mixed and the copper ring is hand made by boys in a prison that dates back to 1890s the stone has a round metal piece on the back I would assume to use a magnet to stick to clothing

All right..

I would also guess civilian, but a photo of the back would be helpful. If it is rusted out it is a modern button.
