Read somewhere in a post a long time ago that sometimes silver quarters will ring up in the high 60's. All quarters I have found this year are the standard 86-90. Any truth to this high 60's idea?

Readings on silver quarters

The only silver and copper coins you read at 60 are usually very deep, or have developed a thicker layer of oxide on them.

Yup 85-89 for me too! Maybe whom ever posted that had a bad ground balance that threw the vdi numbers off!!!!??? Just a thought

lowest i have found rang in the 70s, very deep, on edge and very worn. none in the 60s
