when my former husband had left our home and before the divorce. No one knows but God how difficult a time I was going through. I don't mean to take anything away from Harold and the lovely poem that he posted, but just wanted to let you know there is a way to endure and overcome in times of trials and hardships with Jesus, for He is the light at the end of a dark tunnel! Praise God and Thank You, Jesus for seeing me through those years of pain and sorrows when all seemed hopeless!

God Bless!
Betty

people concentrate on what they dont have and forget what they do have. Good poem Betty, steve in so La (for the last night)

Sometimes we take God for granted and need things like this poem to remind us how truly blessed we are. Not only that, but you composed it on my birthday too  I'm not gonna tell ya which one!

God Bless! and thank you for your words and for sharing them!

first started writing poems for my Lord January 1, 1987, I took more than one day and sometimes quite a while in between them, but now I can write as many as 4 or 5 in one day if I choose to do so, but they are long, so usually just write 2 or 3 in a couple or more hours! The first poem I wrote just poured out so fast that I wrote down every word.....so wasn't really that good but only the words! :) I like the ones written in the earlier years, as they are shorter, but also like the longer ones as they tell the story of Jesus from His virgin birth to His death and resurrection! Keep the faith and keep on, keepin' on for Jesus, for He is the way, the truth and the life..now and eternally!

God Bless!
Betty
