Reading the manual...

I came across Minelabs suggestion of using ferrous tones for jewelry hunting, any of you guys tried this??
Also curious of what settings you use in a nasty site, full of modern trash and old iron, Fast on, Deep on/off???
From reading the manual, I see where you will have to really slow down when using some of the settings, I hunt slow in trash areas anyway but curious of their diffinition of slow and how do the targets react? Also what type target response do you use.???
Best,
John

I like Pitch Hold first and normal second. Some time pitch hold will change without going over a target and then the hunt begins to find the target that change the pitch tone. I like to drag the coil just barely touching the ground at a paint brush stroke.
